In relation to the "season compass" , I have seen no announcements about the EL2 play-off fixtures Idates of which I got from the UEFA website) .
This? No idea when tickets will become available or any information about cost. No away fans for the first fixture, though.
Bryan Gil named in the 60-man shortlist for Tuttosport's Golden Boy award please log in to view this image Notably, two players we're linked with - Noni Madueke and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - are also on there
Still nowhere near good enough, unfortunately. Some glaring holes and too much deadwood. We desperately need to sort out our homegrown balance too, as it restricts signings badly.
It's levelling out, based on our squad breakdowns Domestic 14 Non-HG (of the permitted 17) 8 HG Obviously there's the expectation that Gil and Sarr will take up two of the Non HG spots next season, but that can be balanced out given Hugo's out of contract and the possibility of moving on one, two or three of Ndombele, Dier or Sanchez On the other hand, though... European competitions 17 Non HG 3 Association Trained (of the permitted 4) 3 Club Grown (of the permitted 4) Clearly the balance is off there, not least because Rodon and Doherty are classified as Non HG in European competition which affects our HG numbers, while our CG won't be topped up for another year when Skipp ticks over, and that means there's still a little pruning that needs to be done while also justifying Aurier's contract being terminated as the option was to not register him or Doherty for the Non HG list
If Swansea or Cardiff get into Europe, do none of their players count as homegrown? They qualify in the English pyramid and take an English place. ****ing stupid rule.
I thought UEFA had addressed this obvious oversight after Ben Davies broke the space time continuum, but apparently Joe Rodon was playing for the Swansea who play in the SPL
Espirito Santo is a no-brainer, but Dier hasn't even been our best player, has he? He's played well, don't get me wrong, but I don't even think he's been our best centre-half. That we're even discussing it at all in this context says a lot about the difference in our defending, so far. I'd expect Antonio to piss it, to be honest.
Nuno has to win it, 3 games, 3 wins, 3 clean sheets. I’d have said Sanchez has been comfortably better than Dier at the back, whilst Hojbjerg has also typically been very, very good.
Hugo Lloris interview for his 300th Premier League appearance: Should give him an extension and a testimonial. It'll be very difficult to replace him.
Lets hope not, when Jose won it we were top, I am not sure we won a match in the following month. I will happily let Moyes win it, they have been much more entertaining than us!
That's going to be meme material for quite some time. The heads round the door and the Moura pineapple in particular.
