Perhaps my use of the word gaffer is no longer acceptable for ‘boss’. My boss – the bloke who issues the orders on what work wants doing – is actually the same generation as me. I have sometimes worked for younger bosses because I have been at places where the management structure was a separate career path and it would be some clueless twenty-something two or three years out of university. I did used to work as a contractor but trying to find contracts when the interviewers were mostly ageist clueless twenty-somethings became almost impossible.

Yeah, of course they're. Those deaths and ICU numbers would be a lot higher if people weren't vaccinated. Nobody has said that vaccinations are 100% effective at stopping people from dying. They massively reduce the chances, though. The cases prove absolutely zilch, btw. Of course more people will test positive for Covid when the vast majority of people are jabbed. You don't need to be a genius to work that out. Vaccines don't stop you from dying, catching or spreading Covid and nobody has ever pretended otherwise.
I think we really need to see what happens in winter before anyone can say they work or don’t. The stats from Israel are not good and they’re now on their third shot as cases reach record highs… in summer! We all know that this winter is going to be carnage and the non-vaxxed will be blamed.
Why were cases and deaths not higher last year? “Nobody said the vaxx was 100% effective”… actually some did, then it was 95%, then 80% now 60% after 5 months and you need a booster. According to the Scotch Govt, 80% of the people dying with CV19 are jabbed (at least once)

I don't remember ever being told that vaccines were 100% effective. I've never heard that, you have. So we have obviously heard different things. You have seen people in the media saying that vaccines stop you from dying, catching and spreading Covid. Weirdly, I've never seen anybody in the media saying that. Scottish media must be akin to the way North Korea run their country. You guys are recieving information that nobody else seems to be hearing. Obviously most deaths from Covid are in the elderly. It is the elderly that are mainly vaccinated. It makes complete sense that 80% of people are dying have had at least one (so not fully vaccinated) jab.
“Some breakthrough” or record amount of cases… in summer, for a seasonal respiratory virus? The cases/hospitalisation/deaths ratio can only be properly scrutinised after a year of vaxxing. I hope they work for the people who need them, I really do but science has been corrupted by pharma and the state.
