Essentially the story he's putting out is that even if nufc won the cat case at the end of the month the premier league can just appeal it and then you're talking another year at least. I doubt there's another buyer at all personally
It would appear from what he's saying that the premier league can and therefor will succeed by delaying for upto 3 years and that the belief is that the consortium will give up. I personally don't think there's another buyer, but I suspect if its confirmed off the line will be along the lines of he's working hard to sell the club so won't mind a little false story about a new buyer.
