Bit of info please lads, Krafh - is this guy any good? It appears that we made an offer for him but he blanked us He appears to have played one game this season and a sub for the rest. he says that he wants to stay in the prem, and as he is on 58k a week I am not surprised, we would not have paid him that, as a sub-plot his refusal to join us shafted you efforts to sign Chowadray from Leicester. Did we dodge a bullet,or miss out on a decent player?
A player who appears to have little quality but, as with all things NUFC, another club may unearth qualities suppressed at this club.
Well he's just helped Sweden defeat Spain, their first World Cup qualifier defeat in 28 years. So must be a world beater!! No idea if he played well or not, but shhh, we don't tell potential buyers that info anyway!
Hes absolutely bang average as they come. Can come off the bench and cover for 30 mins, thats about it.
Thanks for the reply to my Krafh question, some tongue in cheek, others succinct and to the point . Time was when missing out on a deal would result in much grinding of the teeth. Not now, we have enough strength in depth to cover this position in what is as poor a championship as I can remember. The bookies have us as favourites to win the league - I don't know about that- but what I do know is that 50% 0f the total amount spent by championship clubs this summer went on our purchases of Harry Wilson and Rodrigo Muniz - which is good news for Newcastle. In spite of some of your posters saying that Newcastle will be relegated this is not going to happen. Why? because the standard between the championship and the premiership is vast. Norwich sell their best player to Villa. Watford sell Hughes to Palace and Chalobah and Quina to us and, as for Brentford, this is a club that has no academy, and once injuries take their toll - and they will - they will struggle, strength in depth is key to survival and Newcastle have too many good players for relegation to be an issue, the only issue I would have is this. Are your current coaching methods bringing out the best in the players? How is it that a 40 mil striker is struggling for consistency? Sort this out and you will be a top half of the table side.
He will if he's doing badly for a while.. This is the thing nufc fans are struggling with.. He's been successful at nufc
He'll most likely be sold and move on elsewhere and become an absolute worldie right back and be sold in 5 years time for £75m to someone else further highlighting our inability to nuture/develop talent! As things currently stand though I'm in the "he's ****ing gash" camp. Our squad is a lot stronger without him in it than when he is !
I have a bad feeling wilder is lined up so I hope Bruce can beat Leeds and Watford because that would see us looking good and prevent another idiot messing up the place even further
