    Yep, I concur, there must be another way.

    Have you tried switching it off and then back on again?

    Sky gave me a year's free subscription to Discovery+, but can I log in to the ruddy thing? Nope, I cannot. I need to scan this code thingy to access a special number, which is needed to successfully activate the subscription. Trouble is, my phone ain't scanning the code. I've been going round in circles with it.

    All I want to do is watch the new Savile documentary :emoticon-0121-angry.

    Believe it or not but when you change some of the settings like IP or DNS you do actually have to turn it off and turn it back on again<laugh>

    @Mick O'Toon

    My advice to you is to stop buying kit with the word smart attached to them when you're far too dumb to use them properly.

    @monacoger this is advice you should also follow.

    Just open the camera on your phone and hover over it, should pick it up. Or get a QR code scanning app and do it through there.

    I'm pretty sure a Firestick will allow you to install the Discovery+ channel, you could also plug a laptop via HDMI into your telly and play it in the browser.

    PM me if needed <diva>
