I never saw the Feedgoods but I did see Wilco at the ill-fated Hull Dingwalls about '83. Wilco is incredible. As a guitarist and as a character. Diagnosed with terminal cancer he did farewell tours, then never died. So went back to the Doctor's who did more tests and announced 'you're right - we can probably operate'. Which they did... And he's still going. Here he is in his pomp. And here he is explained how to do it.
The one like doesn't seem enough - the Wilko cancer story is incredible, there's a documentary knocking about that tells all about it (can't recall the title). I saw them three times, they remain one of the best value for money bands that I ever saw. Edited to add - I LOVE how he makes his method sound so easy
