Looking at today’s squad and how it was a year ago, there has been a massive turnover in players and , I think an upgrade as well. Putting the two squads side by side you can see the difference. The difference in that midfield is unreal. Last seasons was just utter dogshit. fair play to the club
that was my view as well, while the entire squad has been 'refurbished' the midfield has had the refit we badly needed, no matter who we tried there last season they were never up to scratch (the power/dobson combo was never going to work yet was used a lot) with the lads we have available now you can see that if one has to miss out another can step in and do as good a job.
For the first time in many years I am not only happy but also impressed by the signings we have made. I said we should spend to improve but I was wrong...we have used the loan market to great effect and when you look at the team/squad it just oozes quality and gives me a great belief that this is our time to shine, this could and should be the new dawn we have all hoped and prayed for for too many years. I believe we are emerging from a dismal period and have faith that when the time comes KLD will dig deep and bring us to the point we all want to witness. I know we still cannot hope to compete with the likes of Citeh, Manure, Liverpoo n Chelski et al, but if we keep improving at this rate I believe that we should be up there in a couple of seasons and be able to more than compete with the majority of clubs at the top.
