Generally any country I go to and I don't know what the best local or national beer is, I go for Heineken and then I try the local ones and then just stick to one. I don't like change. I would only not drink Cruzcampo if the place didn't sell it. I would then drink Victoria, but if they didn't have that I would drink San Miguel. If they didn't have that then I would go to a different bar. ****ers.

 

All those beers are brewed in the UK and taste like ****.

Amsterdam Heineken and Grolsh are a completely different beverage to the **** we brew here same with San Miguel Cruzcampo etc VB is import only and nice still but expensive.

 

Fussy ****,I wouldn't serve you.

 

Peroni got bought bi Inbev which owns Asahi both brewed here and taste like arse .


England doesn't have nice enough water to make lager .

Heineken is brewed in Edinburgh and is undrinkable now too.

 

I'd always go for the local brew first and if I didn't like it maybe then I'd go for the known brands which invariably are dearer but very rare you can't get a local beer anywhere you go.

 

That's because I don't have vaccine papers , I don't live in Ireland and you don't work in a pub .

 

I'd do what pubs do around the football grounds on match days,the locals get the good gear and the fans get the Skol.

 

If your favourite beer is brewed by the big 2 lager giants then it will taste like **** compared to the original.






Belgian Stella is still fantastic the UK one is undrinkable

Cruzcampo is brewed in Sevilla and Victoria is brewed in Malaga. A lot of people in Malaga don't like Crizxampo just because it is from Sevilla. Not me though, I don't play by the rules. I am wacky that way.

San Miguell was first brewed in San Miguell a district of Manilla Philippines

The UK version is brewed in Northampton by Carlsberg and is disgusting.

Yeah I knew about the Phillipines fact, it used to be a colony of Spain.

 

If a Spaniard first brews it in the Philippines it's a Philippines beer not Spanish.

 

Oh I know. I remember being in a tapas bar in Putney High Street and it was shortly after I found out about the Philippines thing and trying to be smart I asked the waiter if the San Miguel was the Filipino or Spanish version. I felt a bit silly when my brother said, "we are in a Spanish tapas bar, what the **** do you think?"
