But i'm more confused how people have managed to rate him after 1 full game in the Premiership before saying he's worth £15m

Is it too late to pretend I meant this season? <doh>

Still nowhere near a £20m keeper though based on a good start to this year.

Nobod has double figures this season haha.

Hmmm it's a tough one. He was good last season and even better this. He is only young and has broken into the international set up. I'd say as he is home grown, young with potential and already one of the league's best, he could be worth £15-20m.

5 seasons he's played in it. 04-05 - 4 Appearances, 05-06 - 1 Appearance, 06-07 - 1 Appearance, 07-08 - 8 Appearances & 08-09 - 13 Appearances. Hardly proven his self for years, Ameobi scored in the Champions League for us at the Nou Camp at Leverkusen...should we rate him at £30m?

No, considering he's 30 and ****e. Ben Arfa has performed at the highest level, however few games, is still young and before his injury was becoming a key player in the France National Team. Why cant we have just got a bargain? He's worth a lot of money, fit and on form.

Prime example of why we can get silly money for Krul and Tiote etc, likes of Chelsea and Man City have this sort of money to throw around in modern football.

Oh I agree he'll be a bargain, but I think he needs a few more games till we properly can judge how he's adapted to the Premier League and he is the world class player we thought we signed. He has the potential to be worth £15m or even more.

Still can't believe we signed him lol. Apparently he turned down the chance to go to Real Madrid a few months before we got him. He said that he wouldn't get in their team and wants to play week in week out before he is ready to play for a club like that

Oh I wouldnt claim he's PL proven, but his reputation alone is what amazes me to think we got him for a total of something like £6.5m and I think even if he doesnt adapt, a richer team in France or Spain would pay us an 8 figure fee if we decided to sell.

Really? I did hear someone on here say they call him their Ronaldo, thought it was a bit much like <laugh>

One of the most naturally talented footballers of his generation though, no question.

Yeah, I heard it a while back. Probably more so in his Lyon days. But, he has more pace than Nasri thats for sure. I personally think Nasri is better atm, but Ben Arfa definetly has the potential to be a superstar.
