Be interesting to see where the goal posts have been moved considering it was only supposed to be a loan !
Gives the injured lads time to get back up to speed, glass half full, having a fit Honeyman and Wilks will be like a couple of new signings
The HDM suggested earlier that it was a loan until Jan, with a permanent deal agreed for then, to get around the embargo. Which suggests the embargo only applies for one window.
To be honest with Rotherham also interested i suspect Sheffield utd change there mind about a loan move and asked for a transfer fee.
So the deal was agreed prior to this embargo being imposed but their manager wouldn't let him go, then we turn it into a loan arrangement to buy in January, and all of a sudden it bombs .. some skullduggery gone on it seems
I somehow think that history has shown us to be less then good at these things, all eggs in one basket before the basket gets dropped and we end up with fk all ! We've signed a number already, some good some with potential, think that'll be it unless they bring that young lad in from Leeds who was mentioned earlier.
If someone else has offered a fee for a permanent this window then you'd expect Sheff U to favour that option. Slightly disappointing as I thought he'd be a good player for us, but with the cover in that position currently I don't think it will have too much bearing on the outcome of our season. I'd rather have seen an experienced defender or another big no 9 come in at this stage anyway.
I seem to remember 'winning' the transfer window in the Premier League not so long ago. Trouble is it seems like a bloody long time ago!
Well it will not be Pete Spudwhistle with just over an hour to go of the Transfer Window my contact has just told me spudwhistle has just been spotted at Fakenham Training ground having a medical .
