The rumoured fee is less than half his transfermarkt value which suggests a bargain. Perhaps he comes with drama / baggage. Or just wants too much in terms of wages

I think I read somewhere that Lyanco has played as a CM 18 times or so in his career. So I imagine he would be 4th choice if something were to happen.

Hopefully they just really rate one of the young players. But if so I would have expected them to start against Newport

 

Could be Ralph's happy to consider Stuart Armstrong as a backup option in CM, given how many wide players we have.
