I doubt there's a single nufc fan that's surprised by this mate. I mean outsiders look at nufc fans and question why they want him out, but the reality is he's done nothing good for this club in 15 years... He's not interested in keeping the fans happy or providing any pleasure whatsoever... I mean you're in league one and have better facilities than nufc. He's not invested a penny into the infrastructure of the club its been left to fester and slip further and further behind the rest of the clubs above, around and below it. Everything is ****e right down to stick on badges
yep terrible, and yet the boys who keep the hate going leave themselves wide open for ridicule, its time to invest in youngsters and the academy like Villa did a while ago now they are back, got to be a way forward for Newcastle instead of buying journeymen
I don't particularly like Bruce, but he was a fighter and in his eyes I suspect the fans have created a personal war between them and him, so based on his character and that I don't think there's a chance in he'll he's ever going to quit.
That's the thing Ashley refuses to invest in that either. Mike ashley is a front steett cheap shop owner, only knows one way and will never stray from that approach.
I don't think so either, after all he is a Geordie no matter what people say otherwise . All he is guilty of is not being very good at his job.
I think he's said one or two things that haven't helped, but ultimately if the fans think he can just start going up against Ashley then they need their heads examined.. He would be shown the door the second he started complaining and the fans made it personal so Bruce won't give nufc fans the satisfaction. Steve Bruce isn't the problem and that's something I've been aware of for 15 years now. Steve Bruce was the best idiot they could find who would take the job at the time.
All Newcastle woes revolve around fat Mike, Brucie is just a casualty of Ashleys greed, even if he was given the cash window of City or United he would spunk it, too old school and will never be better that bottom 6
Instead of expensive Primadonnas invest in young up and coming talent, and the odd Maxim gun slid in there you will soon be on the mend, oh and an up and coming manager
not really Sunderland have had a lot worse, at least he kept you up, Raffa couldn't do that with even more investment
Bruce doesn't play up and coming talent. He plays idiots that have been stinking the place out for years
He's actually not though... The list you've seen doesn't include the complete failures that lasted a few months. If you're managing **** clubs all the time your win % isn't going to be particularly high. Steve Bruce is useless, but I personally have major concerns about who Ashley would choose or manage to persuade to work here if Bruce walks. Ian dowie, Tim sherwood and Mark Hughes spring immediately to mind
Benítez was appointed as manager of Newcastle United in March 2016 in an attempt to save the club he had a window to improve the Squad but couldn't, Sunderland managed to escape the drop under 5 different managers that managed what Rafa couldn't
Tbf the key area you need to consider is the fact rafa left nufc in a better place than when he took the job... Thats a job well done
