I voted no on this thread However I am coming around, simply because Marcelo Bielsa is mad on him and Orta was in tears when he was pulled in 2019. It seems the club have held their powder knowing that the young winger they just bought and now Jadon Sancho would mean James is toast. obviously we dont have money problems and refusing to pay over the top on some players, even O’Brian a case in point who is cheap as chips, yet have no problem shelling out big money (For Leeds) for James. i think the club have a plan and Poveda going out on loan means room for a new winger and James can play right or left… Im cheering up because cannot see us being stupid and throwing over £20m down the toilet. Dan James will be excellent playing Bielsa Ball ... at Swansea he tore it up, and his rampaging runs through the middle, finished off with screamers into the net (see Harrison vs Toon at Elland Rd last season for a clue) really scared the bejesus out of defenders After that prat at Swansea pulled the plug (and then resigned the next day) it was always going to be difficult for Leeds to get him at the end of the season ... Sorry, Billy, but if he was that keen to play for Leeds, why go to scum? As you know, agents have all the power, which means a player can do what he wants, so if James said Leeds, then Leeds it would be. He clearly didn't, he said 'scum'. And he should be left there to suffer his own greed & stupidity. Would not surprise me if this piece of scum ran down his contract & went to Galatasaray.
