Dan James: Yes or No

We don't know Bielsa's plans for Dan James. He might see him as more than a winger. We know he'll improve him and I'm delighted that a kid who is starting for Scum is willing to join us.

Of course this could drag on until the last minute then Manure say "only joking! We don't want to sell him really."

 

So if this happens will it really be for that fee? I doubt it very much.

Don't really care about the size of the fee as that's not our problem as fans. What I do want is players who'll get me off my seat and Dan James will do that in a way that Costa and Roberts never will.

Bit unfair WJ. Would anyone have signed for a championship club,as we were at the time, or sign for scum? If you saw ‘Take us Home’ you’ll see he got played by Swansea as much as we did. Now whether he is good enough (or better than what we have) is a different debate. I know the ‘in Bielsa we trust’ argument but let’s not forget that he also wanted the much maligned Helda Costa as much as well.

Massively overpriced. First time I have been disappointed at a signing for a while.

Hopefully Bielsa can work his magic otherwise we have just spunked over 30 million on someone far far worse than the de pauls and Cunhas of this world. Feel like we have been mugged.

€28m means £24.5m and thats if everything comes to fruition. For example plays x amount of games, scores x amount goals, stays into x amount if years and whatever else is built into the contract. I suspect we are looking at less than £20m for now which rises if targets reached
