Oh the irony. Last week we were, strangely, linked with Christian Walton. He has just joined the binners on loan.
I was in Ipswich Saturday afternoon and saw a bunch of gloomy faces , Wimbledon scored an injury time equaliser.

Weird shirts it's apparently something to do with Ed Shearan

Yep, tho I'd be tempted to start Gilmour in for Pierre.
I've been pretty disappointed with Billy , he doesn't seem to have much meat on his bones yet but would be great to come on and pick a pass .

Tzolis and Sargent as impact subs .

I'm getting quite giddy like a girl looking at the squad now .

Webber has done some excellent deals .

I wonder if Todd will move on if a bid comes In ?

It would be suicide to sell Aarons now .

Suggests the fee is a little higher than previously thought, but without knowing if there's a loan fee, that might not be unreasonable.

Contract signed, media commitments this afternoon, announced this evening?

Kabak is part of the Turkey squad for their WC qualifiers, with their first fixture in Turkey on Wednesday. I imagine they'll want to get this wrapped up so he can join up with his national squad.

Not to suggest we play it, but:

Gunn (£2.7m)
Williams (£9m) Gibson (£6.3m) Kabak (£22.5m) Giannoulis (£6.3m)
Lees-Melou (£6.3m) Gilmour (£9m) Normann (£11.7m)
Rashica (£8.1m) Sargent (£7.2m) Tzolis (£10.8m)

Is a full XI of new signings, with a combined transfermarkt valuation of £99.9m, assembled for at most £65m (including loan fees), with more than half of that finances by Emi's sale.

His positioning is superior to our current defence and he's only 21! Wiki confirms it haha.

He could be seriously good in the future and right footed.

Farke likes em young like the new Arsene Wenger .

Very exciting prospect.

I hadn't heard of most of our new signings but the scouts have certainly done their homework.

It makes it more difficult because of work permits we have to sign internationals but that has to benefit the homegrown players so I think it's a good thing .

Other than Pukki Lees-Melou Rashica and Krul the rest were British and have also represented their country's.

Pretty much every player has played for their country at youth or full level in the squad now.

We have come a long way

Unfortunately this one just never seemed to work out, they obviously had high hopes for him but seems he hasn’t progressed as they expected. Struggled to even find loan moves for him. Shame!

Transfer window complete!

Agreed fee for next summer is £11m, which from what I can see is a Norwich option, rather than anything compulsory. A little higher than the figure Liverpool were going to pay (£8.5m), but presumably there's no loan fee if this is the arrangement?

There's some doubt about that £8.5m quoted for Liverpool. Other sources say they declined an £18 deal because they were paying £35m for Konate. It's unclear whether the £11m option includes add-ons but a £1.7m (€2m) loan fee has been cited (we're hardly going to get a free loan). It's also worth remembering that Kabab's Transfermarkt valuation is £22.5m, so as with Rashica, Lees-Melou, Normann and Tzolis we seem to be getting a bargain. SW has made the most of a window where many other clubs were limited by their Covid losses, with our total spending now exceeding £50m.
