Nope, in some countries it will be more and in some it will be less. Here in Spain it is 1.7%, still not bad when you consider the likes of Smallpox was 30%.

It clearly says that if you have had Covid from an earlier wave then you would be 6 times less likely to catch the Delta variant than somebody who has had both doses.

 

And that person hadn't had covid yet. All the vaccine does is try to teach your body to deal with Covid, getting Covid is always going to teach it faster

What person are you on about? My question was, if you had had Covid in an earlier wave then why would you take 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine? The only thing that would happen is you would be 6 times more likely to catch the Delta variant.

 

The vaccine is trying to teach your pig thick body how to deal with it but your body completely forgets again after 3 months so you need a booster teach it again or refresher course.

Like a remedial it forgets again so you keep needing more boosters as it forgets.

Where as your natural antibodies teach your body what to look out for next time and it keeps learning and adapting each flu season .

Good analogy.

My point was clearly comparing an immune system to 2 doses.

I didn't say that these results were bang on and the others were false. It would however be folly just to dismiss these results.

I'm just saying the 1.7% doesn't apply to everybody so not sure why people getting mentioning them statistics like it makes everything not as bad. You could be out shopping next to some bloke who has a 10% - 15% chance of dying if infected with the virus and it's that kind of thing which bothers me and makes sure that I've played the game.

I'm not a selfish **** who only thinks about my chances of dying, though.
