https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-cars-huge-bank-robbery-Aracatuba-Brazil.html Jesus, well planned, audacious and ruthless. One for the film thread in a couple of years
If successful and they don't get caught, it won't be the last. They'll hit more and more cities using the same tactics.
They're driving a bit slow. Those hostages strapped to the cars are in on it I reckon. They killed people, that's a fcking no no. And the cyclist maimed for life. Nah fck that.
Indeed. @brb This leeds guy tryna steal comments from you. I think a merging is required. Crime | Page 30 | Not606
I don't get this heist at all, audacious and ruthless as Gessa says, but run by a bunch of monkeys. I can't really believe they got away with enough to make it worth all that effort, attention and aggravation. Heists these days are normally done online, if you are going to do a job, do it properly... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangladesh_Bank_robbery
Wonder then, if it's not about the money but the power they have, sticking two fingers up to the authorities.
Killing innocent people and injuring others crosses a line. In the end they're scum. I liked the Bangladeshi heist, but my favourite was this.... https://www.independent.co.uk/news/fake-prince-stole-gems-worth-pounds-2m-1090677.html The planning, premise and general execution was a simple work of genius. In the end cocked up by a mobile phone call. If it hadn't been for that they would've got away with it and I wish they had just because.
Probably more the latter. Just complete lawlessness is some areas. Can't see your master criminals wanting the army knocking on their door, when you could just cyber attack Bangladesh Banks and probably get away with it, all nice and peacefully.
I remember standing outside Woolworths once and there was a young lad standing next to me with a golden labrador, some old dear tried to put 10p in his head. Only for those of a certain age.
Once upon a time people would lecture you against theft. Nowadays steal a marathon and you'll get nothing but Snickers.
