Nuno classic. A slightly better more.modern version of Mourinho. Mourinho stole all his ideas from bobby Robson and hasnt changed with the times.
Btw, my first thought was that man utd away kit is worse than the first time round (it was bad then) But like shaw went on the pies after the euros. Hes ballooned again
Yeah, I know the theory. But like I said, if I were a ref I'd just be hankering to give the stroppy little git another - not appease him in any way.
This has 1-0 united written all over it after wolves should be 3-0 up. If traore had any kind of ability in final third he’d be a hell of a player as well
Think alot of Traore's problems are due to the fact the other strikers can't hit a barn door. He's the one to take the ball up the pitch for another striker to run in behind for. He's created at least 4 or 5 clear chances for wolves today for the other strikers to squander.
Replay showed Pogba did not touch him, ref was not taken in. Only reason he went down was when he realised he had kicked the ball straight to a Utd player. Utd were poor today, but still got the win.
He caught him. Got him on his shin, wasn’t much in it though. If he’s gone down right away might have been a foul but can’t take 3 steps then fall over and expect to get free kick. what would say was when same thing happened the other end and Bruno was down rolling around, wolves stuck the ball out despite being on edge of united box. Stupid of them as should have carried on playing as united did.
The rule is that only a head injury or serious injury should result in play being stopped. Apparently Bruno's big toe injury fell into this category probably due to a Utd sub-clause in the rules!
Imo the only way to stop the diving is a mandatory 5mins off the park. Then any head contact could be put in the mandatory check category with free sub on to cover HIA Fernandes might have dived or not but in the end rolling about to get the game stopped is cheating. It should be stamped out with a very simple zero tolerance rule. Roll about needing either game stopped or treatment = off for 5mins. I for one am sick of seeing guys like jorginho pop straight back up after pretending their leg is off then sprinting 10 seconds after
Need to start booking players who wave for the ball to be put out of play for their own team. United players effectively stopped playing with pogba standing there pointing for it to go out. Ironic that he’s then the one that commits the foul for which united don’t put the ball out.
5mins would be pathetic and achieve nothing. Automatic ten game ban for blatant cheating but it would have to be blatant.
Players would still dive in the box because getting penalty outweighs the prospect of missing just 5mins
but thats not faking injury is it? Throw yourself down and its a yellow in theory and var to look at you. This is about general dropping and rolling about and demanding the ball is put out of play. So rule a = player having to go off clearly didn't work. Its time imo to ramp it up. first 5mins off the park no get out. the only loop hole can be rule B: a free sub for head impact as any head impact needs to be HIA. Work that into the game. player goes off for 10mins. sub comes on. player does his HIA and can come back. In parallel to this rule c: any player head shooting an opponent = red card automatically. no excuses. this is where flailing arms and raised elbows needs to be dealt with. Mane is infamous for swinging arms left and right yet i have not seen i think VVD very elbow anyone. funny that a cb can keep from hitting his opponents but the Left winger is constantly making head contact. these 3 rules would resolve head injuries and general time wasting and cheating to get games stopped. If 5 minutes still doesn't work it can be 10mins no problem.
