Well we should not be embarrassed by that, very enjoyable too.
If we play like that then we can hold our own against a lot of teams.
    Thanks for your company again.

Shame to lose that 1-0 to a soft goal.

Hopefully all will be fit and fuelled up for the next few games which are winnable .

You really shouldn't complain about the way we played although I expect some will want to.

Well same as Man City did!

Trouble is 2nd half if you really got for it then they can pick you off and it ends up being 3/4-0.

As far as I can see Watford didn't have a single English player in their starting eleven.

Although Wolves looked pretty bloody good against ManUre. They deserved to beat them, lots of energy, really went for United.

At least we didn´t get whacked. Onwards and hopefully, upwards.

It looks like the Deeney haters have found their new target - Bachmann. Many on various sites are blaming him for losing three points today, calling him useless/not a Premiership keeper, and suggesting we get rid of him It's almost as if those who messed up at the other end were entirely blame free. Sure, he made a mistake, but which players don't?

King, Sarr, Kucka and Sissoko all messed up chances to score by making mistakes yet no-one blamed them for us losing - odd that.

That is the life of a ‘keeper if you make a mistake it normally ends up costing a goal!!
Outfield players can make mistakes all the time and it not cost the team the game/points

Yes, but the four I mentioned made mistakes today that more than likely did - King in particular.

Just watched the highlights on MOTD2

We were unlucky not to have taken the lead early on

The free kick for Sons goal was a joke the Spurs player just barged into Cathcart and actually injured him

The goal was soft but Bachman kept out a few other efforts so could have been worse

Odd that the official highlights don't show the "foul"...

    Yes - very true .

Bachmann also made some good saves later on to keep it at 1-0 but people remember the slow reaction to the goal.

Mind you had Deeney been playing some would have blamed him for it somehow !

I am more worried about Bachmann's foot distribution at the moment, the goal was a bit of a freak and I am sure he was expecting someone to get something on it so he stood his ground. Yes he did some good saves and hopefully his footwork will get some attention.

We had some chances to score, but the few chances that tend to come in the PL require very good strikers. Although we have promising ones they are not in the top category simply because we cannot go out and buy the best for the ridiculous fees they command. Our hope is to buy the best we can afford, but then if they do develop into something special after seeing safety for another season sell them on and look for another one.
