^ This Difficult for Ralph to coach Nathan to be more confident or Mo to be faster Theo has managed to under-Achieve compared to his potential his whole career(since he left us) he was great when he returned ... and now meh. He’s always wanted to play in the middle and always ends up on the wing which may be part of it Djeneppo is improving, but will he ever quite make it? Stu is our best No 10 by a country mile and I can’t wait to see him play in this improved squad

Agree with all of this. Romeu was a liability on the ball against Utd too but his reading of play and will to dive in makes him important. Tough one really…
Unfortunately not all players can be just made better. They have all been here 2+ years, Redmond is clearly not going to improve from here.
Redmond’s pass to Armstrong for the pen was sublime, great vision, cut the defence and perfect weight.
What is the latest with Stuart Armstrong? Is he still injured? If he is fit, will he play for Scotland during this International break (and get injured)?
Hope you are able to bring this back up!! Fwiw I didn't say any of them are crap, just that they are okay for squad players
I'm sure normal service will be resumed soon enough, but green shoots and all that. I don't expect us to set the world alight, I'm just happy if I see effort and progress from mistakes
I don’t know what others see in Sally-Sue but I’ve never been that impressed. As for Elyonoussi. Redmond, Djenepo and Theo I can’t really say one is definitely better than the rest. And in general none of them seem good enough to steal the first team place. Im all for improving players but my feeling is that none of these players are the attacking mid/winger we need.
Salisu does look like he might attract a bid of at least 30m next summer if he continues as he has In a side with better midfield protection he would look even better
I really want Djenepo to turn out well - when he first arrived he was so exciting to watch, I remember the Liverpool game when he first arrived he came on at Left Wing-Back and terrified their right hand side all second half, but recently he doesn't seem to attack with quite the same vigour and this weekend this weekend against Newcastle his lack of composure in front of goal was a big factor in us not leading at HT. We've got so many options on the wings; Walcott, Armstrong, Tella, Elyounoussi, Redmond, Djenepo..... I know we've had discussions before about the best pair but Djenepo needs to start producing quickly to retain his place
