Today I really saw the obviousness of the change in our playing style. Players confident and willing to take that extra touch in close situations, prepared to back themselves and their teammates and play the right ball instead of the easy ball. All 3 of our goals came from exactly that sort of play and I'm ****ing delighted at that
Ownership change Players change Fans on board New recruitment plan New way of playing All sounds good to me. We will support them win, lose or draw (we always have) but what they are doing now and they way we are playing is excellent and long may it continue.
Rightly the players get loads of credit. Brilliant to see our home grown lads flourishing. Just want to acknowledge Johnson and his coaches. They must be doing some brilliant work. To see young lads so confident, and older lads so much improved, is a great sign. I think we have a fella in charge who can give us some great memories. I hope if we have a rough spell we stay behind him, like we will with our young lads. I think we are onto a good thing and we have seen what happens when you chop and change.
Josh Scowen booking was nailed on today. Same as when Power returned the other week. Both ****e and both ridiculously lucky to have been at SAFC.
Nice one Janey, shìt Wackaday glasses though Your right about the footy tops mind, there's a mag on the caravan site and I put me sunlun shirt on after the results. But sweatin like a slug on a frying pan. He's a canny bloke though to be fair
It was a similar Scowen experience to when he played for us, kept on forgetting he was on the pitch. His yellow was probably the best thing he did. Was it his dad was saying he expected him to get booed? Seemed a daft comment nothing of the sort happened.
Been talking to a Hearts fan tonight and he said hand on heart that the Scottish Premier league was s hite and if Sunderland were in it, we'd win it at a stroll Me being a humble kinda bloke didn't contradict him! We then ended up discussing the merits of Craig Gordon
Different player this season, No good slagging players for short comings at times in my opinion. Look at the big picture and see who comes through. New ownership has had a positive effect from top down. And any waif and stray gets binned. We're on the crest of a wave now.
Did he purposefully try to whack him in the shoulder, knowing it’s dodgy? At the match I saw an arm raise and assumed he had punched him in the face. How the linesman missed it I’ve got no idea.
If it isnt acted on (and were talking the EFL here) it just gives licence for the players to tw*t other players when they think the officials are not looking. Give him a 10 match ban the cheating b*stard.
He ****ing walloped him with a right hook the dirty cheating bastard. 10 game ban minimum and his gaffer can't wear leather after 9pm. Although I don't think that will bother him too much
My granddaughter and grandson had their photo taken with him after the game (as well with a few other players). My grandson (8 year old) told him that if someone hits him again he should hit him back, then shouted "Winiesta, can we please have our photo taken with you"
