There are some strikers who can get away without scoring because they work hard and always look keen. Wyke often looks like he's lost the will to live if things aren't going his way. That can really aggravate supporters who want effort as a minimum ... ... I never took to Wyke, even when he scored his 30th.
You and TopCat are right I over reacted, sorry I've had a few too many tins of San Miguel. I'm not used to this stuff anymore. I haven't had a drink for a few weeks, had to stop cos I was on the list for the Janssen vaccine. I had it on Monday and I had lots of tins last night and lots tonight. I'll be in bed soon. Everyone could see Wykes shortcomings last season but he still got 30 goals, this season we won't have a 30 goal striker but as a team we will score more than last season IMHO. Ha way the Lads
Something I said too. Also said the it was obvious what he “brought” (or didn’t) in that the club wasn’t lambasted for allowing him to go. He basically won’t be missed. Stewart now has 4 in 5. If he keeps on going then he’ll get 30 easily!! But he does so much more. Hold up play. Passing, workrate etc etc. he basically is a better finisher than Wyke, as good 1st time finishing as Wyke and better in all other scenarios. But he does everything that Wyke didn’t as well! And he’s much quicker
I really love this site. it is such an easy place to get into although I find posting here a bit of a chore. I type out a post and then check it for mistakes then I retype it again until it looks right. My OCD has become more prevalent these last couple of years, I try to hide it with the odd lol and other daft **** but I know it's there. Even when I text my bairn she laughs and asks me how many times I wrote the message. I'm not being indifferent when I post it's just the way I am for now. Good night and a good result. FTM
You could letting auto correct/predict have full rein... the post it and see what comes out and what the reaction is...it could be funny and secondary reinforcement?
