Aye like the one in his leg when he fell on a bbq fork pìssing about Anways, mrs nagging me to take her fer food ffs, missed 2nd half. Told her To hurry the fook up Gerrrrrinnnnnd
Rumours we're signing McCleary, from Wycombe, who travelled up with their team ... ... looks like Jebbison's replacement. Didn't get back on the bus so it's either Covid or he's signing
Cirkin needs to slow down getting forward so to speak he put 2 crosses in which ran astay but at least he gets forward we need players doing that even Flan does he made a rash challenge, but the players are toughening up and 2-0 was strange there was not much in it at the time but finishing is the thing. the big Wigan player came on(we should sign him) and caused us trouble. That's the 2nd blatant back pass we have not got what is going on ? the ref was crap letting too much go Stewart(who is turning into 'Pop' robson type player if i dare say that). was caught in the pen area as well, and they get an own goal, but top of the league !.
As you can see, it's a direct quote from Mowgli1960, a well known member of your forum. So I certainly wouldn't say all your members are polite and friendly. In fact this one seems to have a rather large chip on his/her shoulder and sums up why a lot of us have little time for your club.
Few saying we weren’t at our best today but I thought we were magnificent under constant provocation. That Wycombe team are a disgrace As is the referee who allowed them to get away with it our young lads will have learned so much today. You could actually see the likes of Neil growing into the game His movement and pass for the last goal was brilliant. Stewart Embleton Winchester all magnificent but really can’t fault anyone. And our defence is getting better each week No one is going to want to play us Just feel we are starting to get out club back And much more to come
Thoroughly deserved. They wanted the first goal so they could employ their usual style of play but scoring twice in quick succession completely changed that. We were very good value for the win and we're really beginning to look like we have the makings of a very good team. Some of the combination play today was absolutely excellent and three very well worked goals. The influence of Embleton and Neil can't be underestimated, both created another goal today and obviously Embleton scores a very good goal too. Its taking the over-reliance on Mcgeady completely out of the picture. More goals for Stewart, thoroughly deserved again. Tbh I could go through the whole team today and dish out praise, we were excellent. Gutted for Patterson to lose his clean sheet in added time to such a big deflection but thankfully we were already out of sight. The momentum and optimism are building.
We gave Shearer some stick that night, even at 1-2 we still didn't let up. "He's ****ing ****e He's ****ing ****e He's ****ing Shearer's ****ing ****e" To the tune of 'It's coming home"
I agree with everything especially that. Wycombe wanted to win and we can't outplay teams for 90 minutes every game.
Could only rely on the radio today and this thread for updates. It is a cracking result and I imagine the younger lads have learned a bit about how some teams play. You wont see much of it in u23 football. The radio guy said there was a bad foul on O'Nien and wycombe refused to put the ball out for treatment. Apparently Ainsworth arguing with everyone from the Sunderland bench. The fella back in the main studio replied with a statement of 'get used to it, that is the wycombe way'. He also said Ainsworth will probably blame the ref for them being 2-0 down. Quite damning from a national radio station I would say.
We played well and after the first ten minutes were the better team Their style of play is Stoke City, hoof the ball up to big lads up front and pick up the 2nd ball. Tried to impose their physicality on 09, he was having none of it. I thought it was an OG for their goal? Ref was a little fat dwarf of a man and stayed in the centre circle cos he couldn't run.... hopeless ref
