Not sure he’d get in any of the CL teams from this country but he should be in the competition somewhere. He is what Djenepo could be - unpredictable but dangerous. Djenepo is just unpredictable
Not really. Thoroughly deserved to get a point. Just to point out, another class assist from Redmond to Armstrong for the pen. Involved in both goals = very good sub.
We did. A var decision in the dying seconds of the game is always a lucky get out clause. Very much the right decision, but lucky.
Yeah we probably should but at the end of the day we came from behind twice away from home. Can't really call that poor IMO.
That was a very Saints game. We were in control for long stretches, failed to finish a bunch of chances, made a couple defensive errors with the opposition on the counter, and very nearly lost. But hey, away point.
On my stream (Optus in Australia) the commentator reckons Mike Dean was suggesting it was a genuine attempt to get the ball!
The concern is more that we still have some rough early fixtures to come with West Ham who are in great from and Man City away where it almost isn’t worth showing up! Three here would have been nice especially as we utterly dominated the first half But hopefully it is showing movement in a promising direction
Happy with an away point probably should've had all 3 but certainly did not deserve to lose so pretty content.
To come back from being down twice was great to see! Of course, we should have really taken all 3 points. I'll take it though.
At the end of the day we've only lost once so far from 3 very losable games and in reality only one winnable one so I'm satisfied with 2 points from 3 so far.
I don't think we would have recovered last year. More resilient this season. Neither manager looked happy at the result.
