I pretty much said this, went further actually by saying top six, let alone those two. Wasn’t even there to wum either, just giving blunt observation. I seriously don’t rate their squad one bit, even their one top class player in Aubameyang has been well off the boil since that bout with Malaria and I don’t think their new signings have strengthened them much either, despite spending a fortune.
Unfortunately for them, those above Arteta are at least equally to blame. From Kroenke to Vinai Venkatesham to Edu, it's incompetence piled upon incompetence. Their youth system seems to work, but everything else is buggered.
They've bought for the future, which is fine, but their current team is basically ****. Aubameyang, Saka, Pepe, Tierney, Smith-Rowe and Lacazette are good enough. Can't start both of those strikers, though. The problem is that virtually all of their other players, barring the new ones, are dross. Holding, Chambers, Kolasinac, Soares, Elneny, Xhaka, Mari, Willian... ****ing awful. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-arsenal/startseite/verein/11/saison_id/2021 Compare that with someone like Leicester and it's embarrassing.
I don't know, I think he is doing a rather splendid job, trying to better our two points from 8 games me thinks. Better call Harry.
4-0 down 0 points from three games 0 goals in three games So of course their fans are singing about us...
as some of us predicted, need two more 28.08. 12:30 Man City 7 1 Arsenal 28.08. 15:00 Aston Villa 1 1 Brentford Brighton 2 0 Everton
A lot of talk about City's good start. Remind me, didn't they lose a game this season? No mention in commentary.
It's a shame that the arse are going like this as it looks like it will be a quick end for Arteta , I would prefer the death by a 1000 cuts Hope the don't give him the Spanish Archer before the 31st as they will, have to work with what they've got ..mwwwhaahaa
"They don't need Ronaldo to score goals, as they've got 10 in the last two matches." And what about the one before that? Hmm...
