The old Resident Evil games on the PS1 and PS2 were quality as well, the new ones were awful in comparison. I used to love some of the old football games as well. Can anyone remember Sensible World of Soccer? It was hilarious, 45 yard curling screamers everywhere! With the strive for reality in the more modern games often the fun factor disappears. A shame really, because isn't that what gaming is supposed to be about?

  5. Also you shouldn't be allowed to press Y to rush out with your keeper, that's gay.

No it isn't, it's better than having your keeper sit on his line and wait too late to narrow the angle. Yes some people use it excessively, but it's an important part of defending the goal.

Why? Keepers rush out in real matches. Plus it'd be stupid if they were clean through and your goalie just stayed on his line waiting.
Plus it's always fun when the ball is in the other half and you run your keeper all the way out for no reason and he tackles the guy then runs back.

It's an aspect of football. It's just a good way of defending and if it pisses you off that much practice your chip shots <ok>

  9. It's a real aspect of football, but keepers don't rush out to tackle players 35 yards out do they?

I don't mind when people do it tactically, but 90% of people, when ever you beat their back line and are running in on goal, they just hold onto the Y button and pray.

Most of the time i just curl it around the keeper, but sometimes I'll touch it around the keeper, he'll make no contact with the ****ing ball, i go down and the referee doesn't even give a free kick, and the keeper for some reason can't get sent off in ranked matches, which pisses me off. If some arsehole is going to rush out with his keeper, he should be prepared for his keeper to get sent off if he doesn't get the tackle right, but that's not the case.

There should be a range limit before you can rush out with your keeper.

I time it properly, like when he gets into my box, but you shouldn;t be allowed to sprint out with your keeper if a player is like 30-40 yards out ffs.

They come out to stop a goal, so you cant complain that it makes it more difficult to score - it's a real world aspect of football, look how far Szczesny ran out on Sunday to counter Sessegnon. You can go around them, curl it or chip it anyway, what's the problem?

Also if the guy's running out when you're on the halfway line, just look on the ****ing radar and pre-empt it.

  13. Yes mate, I'm not stupid, I'm just saying it's stupid that if players are allowed to go flying out with their keepers, then the keepers should be able to get sent off.

And the system needs to be improved because too many times have i skinned the keeper by touching it around him, he brings me down and no freekick, no penalty, no red card.

    Stupid.

If keepers got sent off and i got my penalties when i should do, i wouldn't care, but people have realized how **** the refereeing is on this game, and take advantage of that by sprinting out with their keepers as they know it works a good amount of times.

Krul ran out like 9 yards from his goal the other day to stop Defoe being in a one-on one, It's an aspect of the game, get on with it.

  15. I've got no problem with that, my problem really is if keepers are allowed to come flying out at people at any time, then the keepers should be allowed to get sent off.

Is this related to the source being (questionably) stolen?
