I’m still predicting 3-4 in and 3-4 out and as I said the other day I don’t include Sarr in that. Sissoko counts as one of the outs and I think Aurier will eventually join him. I also think the club is doing all it can to get Ndombele out, hopefully something happens between now and the deadline. They’re the main three I expect to be gone and then there could be one “surprise” exit, possibly Rodon. Don’t think it’ll be Winks though, reckon we’re stuck with him, he ain’t leaving. He’ll be kept for the ECL. As for ins, it’s looking more likely Moriba will be one, I agree with you that I think we’ll make a late push for Aouar too, I also think Tomiyasu will happen when/ if Aurier goes and then either a striker or another CB. Gonna be a hectic few days though. Already been some massive surprises what with CR7 back and Mbappe seemingly leaving this window now. Expect more to come and hopefully involving us.
Tbh the quote made no sense to me. Hart said they had no conversation but then goes on to talk about their conversation. Also, after two weeks watching him fail to kick a ball (see celtic match ) maybe Nuno didn't need to see more?
i just don’t see that much coming in, to be honest. 2 more, one of which will be Moriba, or his equivalent if we don’t manage to get him. we’ve seen it before many times where what we envisage as the perfectly balance squad never actually becomes a reality. I completely agree about a surprise exit though. Not sure whether it’ll be Rodon, certainly not on a permanent deal anyway. But I do think there could currently be 1 or 2 “surprise” players who are assessing their position in the squad and may decide to push for a move at the last minute. - someone like Davies for example.
Gotta be honest I do. We’re notably late shoppers in windows and I think a lot of club’s resolves will be broken and a fire sale all around will happen. We’ve just accepted £3m for Sissoko and for as much as we needed him gone I think most would’ve expected at least around £5m-£7m. I see this happening everywhere, someone who would’ve cost say £20m will be be available for about £13m-£15m in the last day or two and so on. I hope if Rodon goes it’ll be a loan too but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a permanent deal. He seems well down the list at the moment (even if he is injured) and I don’t see either Sanchez or Dier leaving now (especially Sanchez, who I think Nuno rates) so it’s gonna be tough for him to get games, especially if we do bring in another CB. Davies I think stays this season but could be a goner next summer. I think we’ll continue playing Sess at LW in the ECL so Davies will keep the LB spot in that.
Yeah was a beaut. Goes and does similar against Burnley too! Wonder who he’ll do it against this season? I think Rose’s will always be the best - or certainly favourite - I’ve seen live. I was sat right next to the Arsenal fans too, celebrations were just mental after a goal like that.
I was sitting nearish you for the Rose goal then...was behind the goal ... you could see it was in from the moment it left his foot. Great goal...but I more remember the game for Gomez showing just how brilliant a shot stopper he was. The save onto the bar from the juds header and the two saves from RVP were made for the best goalkeeping performance I have seen live. All three were world class. Think that was our first league win over them in over 10 years
I’ve always said he’s the weirdest ****ing keeper I’ve known. Wanna see a save that only less than 1% of keepers in the world could make? Gomes is your man. Wanna see a professional keeper try and catch a simple cross but flap at it as if he had butter spread all over his gloves? Gomes is your man.
Totally agree. Went to the Villa match at the beginning of his spurs career. Made a truly outstanding save in front of us in Park lane but in the second half let one go through his hands...pretty much summed him up.
Well we’ll find out over the next 4 days! I just think of the level of “ins” you mention can only become a reality if we get a bloody move on with the “outs” this weekend.
I’ve more focused on the outs than ins as I don’t think the club will sign anyone will come in that can have an immediate impact or even make much of a difference this season. For different reasons I’m almost as desperate to see the back of Aurier and Ndombele as I was Sissoko so I badly want to see them gone. Wouldn’t mind seeing a random one like Ben Davies be sold either but that’s not gonna happen this window.
Fair… We’ll let that one slide for now though. Once Winks realises Skipp ain’t letting him back in the side and if Moriba arrives and jumps the queue, he could be seeking a January exit with a bit of luck.
At least Winks isn't taking up a non-HG slot. We're not shopping for HG players, so he's not impinging on possible purchases, like Aurier, Ndombele and Diet (Edit - accidental but actually very appropriate). Given that he slagged the previous manager to the press, he should be out the door but that's up to Nuno.

Chosun report that Hwang Hee Chan is having a medical with Wolves While some immediately jumped on this as assuming that he was replacing Traore, in spite being a striker not a winger, it did strike me with one thought: why don't we take a punt on him? He's reportedly available for around £15m as Andre Silva has made him surplus to requirements at Monster Energy Dusseldorf , he has military exemption as he was in the Asian games-winning squad, and if Agent Sonny can have a word to get an understudy up front that could tick off something on the list
He's also one of those versatile forwards who can play multiple positions. Had a very good relationship with Haaland when they played together and can also play wide.
Mike McGrath saying we have an interest in Barca RB, Emerson. We've been linked with him once before too. Apparently asked if he's available on an initial loan deal. McGrath has been bang on with Spurs stuff this summer so could be one to watch.
