Off kayaking today on the Helford river. Beautiful spot. Wooded valleys that meet the water, with lots of little creeks and inlets to explore.

Got a wedding tomorrow and then off bike packing with my mate up on Bodmin moor. Been looking at some maps, but there aren’t many footpaths marked so I think we’ll have to pick a route and make it up as we go along and find a decent spot to camp.

Will try and catch a bit of the City game if I can, but expecting us to get tonked so I ain’t gonna let that ruin my weekend

 

By coincidence, will also be kayaking at some point.

Bought a seat and two ended paddle for the SUP so will give that a go, got Tuesday off as well so proper long weekend.

Golf club championships first though, Saturday & Sunday. I'm not winning the ****er, or event getting close, but it's a top weekend. Just need the knee to hold up.

Cricket nets tonight and tomorrow morning. Will most definitely be fitting some beers and a barbecue in around all this.

 

Just dropped my Mrs off at her mates for a trip down to London for the weekend so finishing off working in daughter’s garden today, got a presentation to finish for a conference next week then off to Newcastle for the day tomorrow to meet up with a few guys off here and watch us play Sarfampton.

Sunday will have a run in the morning then in the garden again but ours.

Here atm. Just having a spot of lunch on the beach before paddling back up the river.

 

How did your Wales trip go mate

 

Yep. Kids went climbing and on the Ninja Course.

 

yeah it was wicked mate. Went up to Cwm Idwal, swam in the lake. Went to Gwydir forest and did some hiking and another swim in a great little plunge pool we found. Bit of ice cream and toy shopping in betws-y-coed and half a day in Llandudno. Breakfast each morning in Caernarfon and a quick look around the castle.

Manager to pack quite a bit in seeing as we were only up there for 3 days

 

Beautiful part of the world up there. Would love to go back and check out the surf park and spend a bit more time up in the mountains
