    Salvia/DMT would suggest that its very possible that the soul/consciousness could live on after the physical body body dies. In the fabric of space or in another lifeform. There is no heaven in the sky afterlife though.

    The afterlife is a way of comforting those who fear death, it is debateable whether it exists and frankly I highly doubt it does.

    If the conciousness does move on or go back to where it came from, it would have no recollection of an identity.
