Everything that comes out of the club now is so encouraging. Even though we all know there’s a few gaps, we are all comfortable going to January, as we know if there was a problem between now and then we trust it would be rectified. Trust isn’t a word I’ve used around the club for many years and as such it’s wonderful to ha e that back.
Spot on. The summer got off to a very slow start but the players we've brought in thus far have been very encouraging.
With Huggins able to play on both sides, that should give us the cover we need at full back. The number 7 position is still intriguing and the way LJ was talking in midweek, we are still looking for a striker, whether the half-arsed twat leaves or not. Think the message was very prudent. On the one hand letting fans know we are still talking to clubs about high-quality players, while preparing them for the fact that we may not get anyone. Other than 09's shoulder, everything seems rosy in the garden at the minute and spirits in the camp appear very high which bodes well for the rest of the season.
The celebrations at Blackpool were tremendous. Seems a real togetherness in the camp, competition for places is hitting up now and pushing performances up. Very interested to see who we get up top, will it be Jebbison or is there another one flying under the radar? I think Grigg will go either way judging by what people have said on here who hear good info.
It looks like United to me. Watched the 2 press conference and there’s just a hint that Ole knew summat, Pep seemed solid on ‘happy with squad’. Could all be deliberate of course and he ends up at City, but Bruno now saying ‘yeah been speaking to him regularly’
Would Ronaldo do that to the fans who worshipped him? Plus United seem to be at least on a par with City this season.
I think he will go wherever he can get his 500k a week and Utd won't pay him that imo. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
