The whole board is waiting for your opinion of Winks' performance including his efforts for the first goal.

    <laugh>.

Very strong first half and vital in the first goal, was only bettered by Gil and Kane in those first 45. Didn't stand out too much in the second though. Pacos is about his level I'd say, they're probably the equivalent to a strong Championship/ bottom five Prem side and so he didn't look out of place.

    Didn't catch the game.

How did Doherty do against sub-standard opposition?

Would love to face PAOK again. The atmosphere they brought to WHL about ten years ago was unreal. Them and Wisla Krakow are the two loudest opposition fans I think I’ve seen come to WHL.

Kane starting his 2nd stint as a Spurs player like he began his first one, with a goal in Europe.

    I'm very happy for Winks.

He actually had a remarkably good game.

As long as we are in this competition, he'll have a firm place in the squad.

If we win the group we get straight into the last sixteen. If we come second we have to play a Europa League third placed team for a place in the last sixteen.

    Draw pots
    Pot 1
    Roma (ITA)
    Tottenham (ENG)
    Basel (SUI)
    Slavia Praha (CZE)
    Copenhagen (DEN)
    Gent (BEL)
    AZ Alkmaar (NED)
    LASK (AUT)

    Pot 2
    Feyenoord (NED)
    Qarabağ (AZE)
    Maccabi Tel-Aviv (ISR)
    PAOK (GRE)
    Rennes (FRA)
    Partizan (SRB)
    CFR Cluj (ROU)
    Zorya Luhansk (UKR)

    Pot 3
    Union Berlin (GER)
    CSKA-Sofia (BUL)
    Vitesse (NED)
    Slovan Bratislava (SVK)
    Jablonec (CZE)
    Alashkert (ARM)
    Flora Tallinn (EST)
    Kairat Almaty (KAZ)

    Pot 4
    Lincoln Red Imps (GIB)
    Randers (DEN)
    Omonoia (CYP)
    Anorthosis (CYP)
    HJK Helsinki (FIN)
    Maccabi Haifa (ISR)
    Bodø/Glimt (NOR)
    Mura (SVN)

Potentially some very long journeys - Its hard to say what constitutes a good draw - Rennes, Vitesse and Lincoln red Imps would be good from a distance perspective. Qarabag, Kairat and Maccabi would see us clock up some serious air miles!

About 20,000. We really need to sort our squad out and use it well.
If we fail to bring in another striker (and I think that's exactly what will happen), then this could turn into a real slog.

    Highlights:

I think that's Lo Celso's goal. Looks to be going on target, to me.
Hit the woodwork way too much, again. Should've been a lot more comfortable.

What're the odds we draw Paskotsi's old club Flora Tallinn?

Winks will have a good game against any sub standard opponents. It’s when he comes up against better teams where he has less time on the ball that he will struggle. I’ve said it before but he would probably look a much better player in a more technical slower league.
