What I find odd is, I don't think I've seen a news article linking us to Arda Turan in this transfer window.

This is like that first transfer window we weren't linked to Robben, or Figo. Monumental in it's silence.

I wonder who will be the next footballer that we are linked with every transfer window for three or four years now that Turan is no longer that man.

So you're saying he could be Milner's long lost twin?

Big signing in 16 year old Bobby Clark from Newcastle. Meant to be highly regarded but no idea. Newcastle guys seem bit peed off by it.

**** them. we don't care. we just hoover up any kids going spare.

its not our fault if their academy is in chaos and can't assure kids of a route to the first team. Cleary they need to sort their own house out.

Kaide gordan was 3mil btw. RW, 16. thats a complete rip off for derby already as he will play the league cup most likely for us and looks good enough to get a game in 2 years time so will be worth 10mil without even trying hard

This lad is lee clarke's son so I'm sure they are hopping mad than an ex "legend" (who was a hometown boy as well) and is a more of a 10 or maybe left wing option.

throw another on the pile i suppose. he will be direct compeittion to the polish lad musialowski as he is also a LW

Its likely a lot of these will be fighting for u23 spots and going to youth cup for their main targets.

Liverpool have reportedly made contact over a move for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The 24-year-old shone for the Seagulls last term and has been strongly linked with a move away from Brighton before the end of the transfer window.

Shedding light on the situation, sports journalist Duncan Castles told the Transfer Window Podcast: “My information is that there are inquiries from Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal as to how much it would cost to sign [Bissouma].

“Now he has improved significantly during his time at Brighton and what is quite important here is that his statistics are exceptionally good…

“You can see why his game would fit Liverpool’s set up under Klopp.”

I would sincerely doubt it as brighton wont sell this late. They will be apoplectic if they lose him this late

Bissouma will leave. Guy is top 4 quality IMO, can do everything from midfield. Proper box to box.
Might not be this window though, after selling white Brighton don’t need the money and getting late in the window. If Brighton safe in Jan then might be an option otherwise he’ll be off next summer.

It's really a kick in the teeth cos brighton have more chance of rescuing everyone from Kabul airport than replacing bissouma in the same available timeframe.

I believe the have a player in the wings but they aitn as good no way.

They signed caicedo last summer who is meant to be a decent player. Similar sort of mould but remains to be seen how he progresses.

Midfielder got from salzberg meant to be alright, mwepu.

tbh Brighton jist need a decent forward to finish the chances created. Maupay is massively hit and miss, weirdly was being linked to Everton.

Not really. They've failed to force Spurs lower their price for Kane and they know they'll need a focal point striker in games, ie against Spurs, can't play Norwich every week where every player is allowed to shoot.

Aguero had always said he wanted to leave at the end of his contract, tbh I thought he'd head home as he's hinted at before, plus he's become injury prone. So City were never keeping hold.

Jesus is inconsistent and not a great goal scorer, Haaland is priced out this summer.

Ronaldo will be a 2 year deal, this with City and it maybe that he does the 2nd in America "on loan" with New York (like Lampard). City will try for Haaland next summer.

Kane is over, stuck at Spurs forever.

Plus Pep is done at the end of next season, what does he care about the future beyond him at City

More so for Ronaldo. Big risk coming back to England, he obviously looks after himself but huge diff in the speed of play in Italy compared to the Prem. if he comes back and flops would tarnish his reputation a bit. Thought he might try take easy option

ronaldo is a no brainer for them. As you've said he will go off the US so IMO he'll claim his brand rights stuff for no tax and make a killing.

Kane is as you said ****ed. if he things levy is handing him a new contract when his current is running out at age 32? he's deluded.
