The RAF have evacuated nigh on 2,000 people in the last 24 hours.
There was a bloke called Ahmed at the Baron hotel just a few hundred yards from where the blast, who was on the radio yesterday saying he'd received the papers from us for him and his 16 yr old and 8 yr old daughters to fly out. He was told to come with his 2 daughters today to the very gate where the bomb blast happened. The radio presenter was on today, trying to find out if he was ok. Nobody knows. One of hundreds/thousands who were at that spot probably. Unconfirmed reports American soldiers also injured. They targeted that gate specifically because it's where the UK and US soldiers are based and where most afghans are gathering.
So it seems the intelligience was right about the then pending attacks within hours. This just proves the sick mentality of the people who have done this, it's said to be ISIS-K whatever the hell that means. 13 killed and 60 wounded.
I don't know why I'm shocked scum like this exist. I heard one of the bombers was in the sewage canal, any one that has watched Stuart Ramsey's reports would have seen days of that area being filmed. When I first heard that these attacks were imminent, I thought is this some kind of sick joke, to clear people from the area - by far I was wrong, it was not a sick joke, it's sick in the head people.
But it also gives a 'get out' for Biden to pull the plug on evacuations early. Perfect excuse - "If the army are still there then so will the afghan people. We have to do the right thing to protect them by leaving so they're no longer a target" There's a part of me that wouldn't be surprised if this was orchestrated as some black ops just for that purpose. Or I've been reading too many Aber posts.
