Has been signed to an Academy side
They supply the strip but parents have to buy training gear
No problem to me as the training he will get will far out way the monetary value

 

That is pretty common to have to buy training gear. Academies training gear likr a uniform and I think it is a good discipline for the kids.

 

Well done to your grandson. Are you allowed to say which club/age group?

His Dad went to Sheff Wed got to Northern league standard

But could not play for teams them days

 

Good academy, proper set up. Certainly better than NUFC.

 

I thought they only had borstal for the young.
