I would have like to see Taylor Moore given a chance at Right Back, he’s decent in the air, decent taking the ball forward and decent in the tackle, but what do I know???
I would imagine it’s something they would have looked at in training, the fact he hasn’t been given a go would suggest they don’t believe it would work, but as you said, what do I know ??
I live in Newport , I’m from Bristol, more precisely Ashton Vale, until my mid twenties I lived within spitting distance on the hallowed turf. I went to Ashton Vale, then Ashton Gate and finally Ashton Park Schools, just being accurate, so Bristol City are genuinely my local club. I’m not sure where Cardiff comes into the equation. I’m not some plastic supporter who supports a club that aren’t local to my roots.
Is he from Bridgwater or does he live there now, and do you say you come from Canada?, just because you live there now.
No I’m not doubting your birth place or anything. Just winding you up about Newport (I have rights being born there and drinking there many nights) We were there yesterday looking at properties as my daughter and son in law are looking for a house. And it came up that the Celtic Manor used to be Nr Cardiff not Newport address.
I know what you were doing . I’ve chosen to live here though , I look out My front window at amazing scenery, can be in Abergavenny in 1/2 hr, Crickhowell doesn’t take much longer. It’s a lovely part of the world. The people mostly are lovely too, the worst ones have moved away
Went to Crickhowell for the first time (in adulthood) earlier this year for a weekend away. And I’ve totally forgotten what stunning places there are in Wales. What I have noticed in looking at houses for her, is that there is a boom in Newport. For her price range there is nothing in Chepstow & Caldicot. So we started looking at Newport. Glan Lynn which was set up for the young to afford houses, and building 6000 homes creating a new village is selling by the time it hits rightmove. Since the bridge announced free crossing we’ve seen prices rise and rise.
Interesting how different people see things, I would say you live in Canada but are not from Canada, I consider where you are born and brought up as where you come from.
Normally it is!! I had an Uncle & Auntie (no longer with us) that moved to US & Canada back in the early 60's (still have a load of cousins there) , but was always proud to say they were from Bristol.....because they were, born and brought up here....
what about the few born on aeroplanes!!! from where or to where or nearest landfall at the time!??????
Same still applies, it’s not about where you are actually born, or where you are conceived for that matter, but where you grow up. Otherwise most Bristolians would either come from Southmead or the centre of Bristol.
