Nah i agree with Bod. The fat spanish waiter is a much better manager than Bruce. Bruce is shocking, he's like a very poor mans pulis or allardyce. He's cheap and geordie though. Saying that, he's going par for the course at newcastle and his signings have been decent. It'll only be a matter of time though before he ****s it all up and newcastle go down again
Problem with Bruce is he doesn’t have the respect of any players or managers, so teams have no fear playing them on any day, and Newcastle fans have to settle for his ugly football, and they don’t like it. Trouble is, near enough all of their players are mince, so they can’t play decent ball even if they brought in Pap Guardiola. On paper they should plummet like a stone, but they always seem to find a way to stay out of the ****e. Like a turd that won’t flush.
Newcastle is what happens when a sugar daddy leaves a small club. Their fans have to be the whiniest in England, they were a pokey D2 side until Hall tried to buy a title, (although it turns out he borrowed the money and Ashley had to pay off the bank loans iirc.) The NUFC fans have a better board and manager than they deserve.
I know I'm bias him being ex Gills, but I don't know why Bruce gets so much stick, I think it more explains the frailty of Newcastle fans. #Bullies
Personally I think it's a couple of things. He's a Championship level manager, and he's a orrible whiney ****.
So if he's a Championship level manager, he's over achieving by keeping them in the Prem. What do you really expect from a manager on a Sports Direct payroll.
I've never said Bruce is a better manager than Benitez? I did say that Bruce has done better at Newcastle than Benitez, though.
Benitez, the fat Spanish waiter. Not a bad manager tbf, but so glad he ****ed off from our club, the ****.
Depends how you look at it. Rafa took over a side that was losing every week and left a side that was the 13th best in the country having finished 10th the season before.. He spent nothing net. Bruce took over the 13th best side in the league and has spent 125 million and finished 12th. Last season particularly after Bruce brought in Jones the football was far better to watch, but so far this season it's been awful and we're back to losing most games... Its still early but its not looking good atm. The real issue has been the owner and has been for 15 years... Managers can't make the likes of lacelles, Hayden, Krafth, shelvey or gayle good enough
They just never liked him because he managed Sunderland first and foremost. Unfortunately at the start of the season fans were giving him another chance and a clean slate, but things haven't gone well so it's turned sour again already. Newcastle fans look at other clubs spending less and see them playing better football and after 15 years they're sick of it, but the real problem is the owner and the idiots running the club....Bruce's the only guy that wanted the job
