Also giving me acid flashbacks to Kyle Walker's howls that he wanted to leave because Trippier started the FA Cup semi ahead of him ...and then he tried to make out he had routinely been dropped from the squad, as if nobody could look up that he'd started 10 of the 12 games before that match If he wants to engineer an exit, go ahead - just as long as it doesn't get awkward when he bumps into McKennie or Kessie on the way out
I'm not sure. I wonder if this situation will repeat next Summer as well. He'll be 29, but he'll have 2 years left. Depending on what happens with Haaland, I could see either of Man United or City trying again. Whether he'll want to go, or whether he'll push to move, is another matter entirely.
Possibly but hopefully means another season of him scoring lots of goals for Spurs. Either way it’s a huge boost. Plus it pisses Sky off because now the last week of the transfer window won’t be them making up lies about Kane and Man City
The Irish Sun is really getting desperate, claiming the players are comparing Nuno to David Brent Funny how not a single source is cited, quoted, or mentioned...
WOW. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before, especially with so much time remaining in a transfer window where “anything can happen”. Normally any player who is linked elsewhere not only remains silent whilst the media try to sell them, but also never says anything about it after the event. As fans we’re always in no mans land as they always keep quiet. Maybe sometimes we get the odd sound bite in an interview like “you just never know in football”, but it’s always so vague. Really surprised by this, but it’s fantastic news…. …other than the fact we’re now officially skint and won’t be signing anyone.
Blofeld has done a good job for once here, it has been a huge slap in the face for media agendas, player power and financial doping. It is now up to Levy to add us enough quality in the last week of the window to make us competitive.
It would be great to think that this is a sign of real ambition to try to achieve something on the pitch, rather than just delaying matters. We'll know next week.
Two weeks into the season and we’ve beaten City twice. Love it. Glad he’s put it to bed (at least for now). Another season with arguably the best striker in world football, I’ll take that, thank you very much.
I’m first to admit I’ve been a critic of Levy for certain things for many years, but credit where it’s due. He may actually win a little bit of respect back from those who have slated him in more recent months over the ESL etc. Who knows… perhaps he and paratici may even sign some first team players….
Given he went for a round of golf with Dier and Doherty the other day, I think he's trying to mend some relationships How many, of course, is a different question...
Plot twist: What if Kane was never gonna leave, as he loves the club so much that he orchestrated this entire saga on his own to make Levy **** his pants, genuinely forcing a rebuild to the squad? (And Kane now knows of our incoming transfers. Ronaldo…Mbappe etc ) Epic Wumming.
Romano claims the Mansourites offered €150m That's €150m, not £150m I refer back to my comment about what Los Ladrones are offering for Mbappe...
Kaveh Solhekol is genuinely devastated at this news on Skyte Sports, it is quite funny and amazing to see their agenda brought crashing down all around them. They have had every third rate pundit and his dog desperately transferring Kane to £ity for months, this has shown them up to be the first rate mugs that they are.
It’s all they’ve spoken about. They must be frantically worrying about what their filler content is gonna be for the next week or so. Is Dharmesh Sheth with him in the studio? If so, someone please post a video clip. I need to see him crying.
