    Well thats fookin fantastic.
After being 1-1 and going to work, I didn't check the result until first break about 11pm.
I'd even missed a WhatsApp message from me lad .
He must have been flapping like fook.
"Shall I cash out"? He sent near the end.
He had QPR to win 2-0
    And us to win 2-3.
    He cashed at £929.70

He's always fookin jammy with bets.

Really pleased for AOB, a lad that gets plenty of stick over the road. Hopefully he can keep this goalscoring up whenever he appears for 1st team

If we were playing the same way we'd absolutely need to replace Wyke. I don't think it's a pressing issue now though, and I bet we score more goals this season than last.

It was a very enjoyable game last night. O'Brien's celebrations in from of our fans were class, he ****ing loved it. Great performance by Diamond as well, maybe the loan talk has given him a rocket.

Winchester loves a sliding tackle, cleaned a couple of their lads out brilliantly. Huggins looked good on the right and Broadhead was very lively up front until he tired.

It was brilliant to shut their ****ing drum up with that winner. <laugh>

Crucial point, so far we are on or ahead of schedule, ie 2 points a game and a total of 90 points plus, to achieve this we need to take our chances, and to do this we need , AoB and Stewart up front from the start with, Neil, O/9, and Embleton playing behind them, especially at home, to get the crowd going with an early goal or two. To do this either Gooch or McGeady would have to drop out, which would be a difficult decision, but one that must be taken imo. OaU

Haven’t seen anything other than the goals. Was working overtime until 10 so sneaking glances at bet365 on my phone!! Will watch the highlights today at some point but it’s an impressive win. Determined performance too.

Things are looking good for us but I’m trying not to get carried away. Just happily getting behind them (unlike some) and enjoying the ride!

It was impressive because Blackpool obviously wanted to go through, their players really celebrated the equaliser.

I think Diamond needs an arm around his shoulder rather than a rocket, the treatment he got last season was criminal and could have ruined him, shunned almost as we all went barmy over one performance from Jones. At the beginning of Parky's last season both Diamond and Neil shone out in the pre season, yet Neil was totally sidelined as Diamond light up the early games, it is to Dans credit that he rode out this snub and came back fighting, Diamond can do the same imo., its really up to him but if I am any judge he has the ability to be at least the equal of Dan and what a force we would be with those two firing on all cylinders. I would also like to mention Patterson here he is unorthadox but he also has the potential to make his mark at a higher level , something Burge has not the faintest hope of doing, Ill leave it at that. <ok>

5 wins from 6 makes the Burton defeat all the more annoying ...

... and puts a question mark against McGeady imo.

Since the departure of Wyke has his presence become less important?

Good question, I was not bothered one way or another about re-signing him after Wyke chose to leave, but it was a difficult one to call. he hasnt supported Stewart so far to the extent he did with Wyke. I always thought he would make a good number 10 but he has not looked up to it very often when he does move inside, A clever player who may just be running out of time, maybe he could be a brilliant impact sub if he chose to be, but that may not be the way he sees it, LJ may need all his guile to keep him happy and on board.

Excellent point. So many were saying effectively that “Wyke can only score with McGeady” yet no one would accept that “McGeady can only set up Wyke”. I didn’t think either were true to be honest. I think, if you have the right manager, both players can flourish. But McGeady’s form is a worry. Hopefully it’ll just be a fitness thing and he’ll get there. But I certainly don’t feel we need to rely on him like we did

From what I can glean, Diamond had a decent game. Unless Mcgeady and Gooch improve surely he has to be a starting option.
I know Gooch does pop up with a goal, even when he is playing poorly, eg tin pot cup final, but is that enough to give him a starting berth. Mcgeady is different, in that even half fit his class still is evident.

Diamond is young, he can easily play two games a week.

AOB has always split us. There’s some that think he isn’t great and some that appreciate that we generally have a bit more space and fluency when he plays.

Was delighted for him last night. One of the things I always notice with AOB is he’s really engaged with the club. His celebrations last night were of sheer joy, but if you watch social media, anything posted by the club, or other players, or generally SAFC related he’s always liking or contributing.

He’s a good player to have around and that was great to see last night for him.

Honestly think it's more an age thing mate.

We have attacking threats all over the park now which by itself makes him less important. Sure, he can be a game changer but i personally think he'd be better utilised as an impact sub coming on for the last 20 minutes running at tired legs
