Spending all our money on new contracts for players it seems this summer then. Salah next in line as well as hendo.
So Saul now been whored around to Chelsea on loan. Guy is desperate to get out of Atletico for some reason and agent is working over time to link him to any club. Next he’ll be linked with Arsenal as a last ditch desperation.
'Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has signed a new long-term contract with the Reds, becoming the latest player to commit his future to Jurgen Klopp’s side. The reported five-year deal keeps Robertson at Anfield until 2026 and will take him to almost a decade at the club, having joined from Hull City in 2017.'
Ooo interesting. Tough one for PSG. If he’s not going to sign a new contract then that a hugely valuable asset to lose on a freebie next summer.
Spurs are a billion in debt, we are close to half a billion, think you are still just south of £75m. It's not the debt but how it's structured and meant to be paid.
137 million squid for a player with only a year left on his contract. Real Madrid are idiots. I know he's good but Madrid are trying to "Leeds" themselves aren't they? I wonder how much they'll get back for him in the firesale when they go into receivership.
Not sure there is much I'd want from Real (that's just me), Asensio would appear to be the main one with real resale value. Lot of the squad is moving to the wrong side of 30 or are already there with big contracts and the younger ones have failed while at Real or just aren't that good, hence the drop off in Real over the last few years.
Based off the current reports, it seems that the two clubs most likely to go for Ronaldo are Man. City or PSG... Man. City may go for Ronaldo should they fail to secure Kane. PSG may go for Ronaldo should Mbappe leave the club. I don't like PSG and I don't like how they're run but can't help hoping they sign C.Ronaldo just so we can see him link up with Messi!
