Not a film but has anybody watched the Netflix series 'Shooter'? I've just finished the first series and it's more than decent so far.

Saw the first series, thought it was “ok”. Not seen the second (or third?).

    The film was quality though.

    Watched The Mauritanian.

Not usually one for law dramas but thought it was really good by all accounts.

Solid 7.8/10. Would probably be higher if these sorts of films were my cuppa tea.

Watching "Deceit" ... drama about the Rachel Nickell murder and how Colin Stagg, the prime suspect, was the subject of a police 'honey trap' ... really good.

Sharlto Copley makes that movie. ****ing brilliant as Kruger. Some of his lines are iconic, lol.

Watched the first episode of Deceit about an undercover police op to try and catch who they believed to be the killer of Rachel Nickell.

Bound to be embellished a little, but an incredible story so far. Had no idea about this story and the extent to which they went to get him.

    Very good watch so far.

    Snake Eyes - 4.7
Not completely terrible but doesn't really do the original GI Joe movie much justice though.

    Sweet Girl - 6.1
Little twist in there that had me albeit I guessed how the ending would go, decent enough film, probably one you wouldn't watch again though.

That's a shame. Still a good show though. Luckily it wasn't one of those detective crime ones as it's just something you could enjoy

    Reminiscence

I can understand why this one divides opinion. Excellent cast let down by a weak script. It borrows heavily from Inception, Blade Runner, Memento and Minority Report. Combines my fave genres (crime, thriller and sci-fi) and probably over-stretches as a result but definitely worth a go. Rebecca Ferguson is superb in it, I'd say her best work yet.

    7/10

That's the worry with any rewatch, you could ruin the memory. Some films are best left in your memory.
