Word out there is that if Forest get nothing against Derby on Saturday, Hughton is out.

Yes, and 5 losses - Lamouchi went after just 4.

No surprise. They are a shambles, as are Direby.

In fairness, Derby have to suffer a lot more freak weather than Forest.

Today’s results again prove how difficult it is to predict who’ll finish outside the top 2.

One hell of a comeback by QPR too.
Robbie must be a happy man tonight but I'll refrain from expanding on events at Brammal Lane for fear of upsetting my sweetheart.

Tough 4 fixures left for us in September.
Robbie has already said CCFC will win on Wednesday. I agree.:emoticon-0142-happy

6 points from the 4 games would be a decent return but we need 7 - 9 if we harbor hopes for a top 6 finish.
A long way to go, but blocks of games like this could define our season.

Admittedly it's very early in the season when "3 points" has a bigger impact on table positions than they tend to later on.

Just looked at the table. The much vaunted Fulham are unbelievably just 2 points ahead of us. One round of games with the right results and we could be above them.

That stupid loss against the Wurzels has cost us a top 2 place right now. Long way to go but we've just got to get on with it and let the rest worry about us.

I still think over the course of the season the likes of Fulham, WBA, Bournemouth and even Sheff Utd will be the ones to be there or thereabouts just based on spending power, however I see Stoke, QPR and maybe ourselves challenging.

It's not beyond the realms of doubt to see someone like Coventry spring a surprise and challenge for the playoffs too (would be a heck of an achievement if so).

Think a lot will depend on injuries and covid disruptions to squads like ours, not to mention the January window.
With our strongest 11 we can give anyone a game but it doesn't take much to disrupt that.

The likes of the Wurzles and the Jacks puzzle me. In some respects they both look like relegation candidates but I suspect both will do enough to finish mid-table or just below in the end.

One thing is for sure though, lots of twists and turns to come as always in the craziest of divisions!

Although they beat us, Bristol City are dreadful. They're banking on the "Pearson effect" to transform a poor squad. The guys across there see that as the way forward but they'll struggle this season with what they've got at the moment.

As for the jacks, Martin is trying to play Premier style possession football with what's basically a League One standard squad. The departures down there this summer of the likes of Ayew, Lowe and Roberts has left behind a rag tag assortment of decent players like Grimes supplemented by wannabe's.

Not really concerned about either of them as far as our ambitions are concerned, but I bet deep down, other than the rivalry issues, both will be glad we won that game at Forest yesterday to keep them cemented to the bottom.

Derby hold the Baggies at The Hawthorns. Don't know how given that WBA had 25 attempts on goal with 9 on target.
Still, if you don't put them in the net

The jacks are glad the 3 teams below them, Hull, Blackpool and Peterborough all lost. They'd have been sat on the trap door playing Millwall tonight.
