Unless we get injuries, this is where our advantage over the majority of other teams kick in. We should be able to cope with the 2 games per week. When other clubs 1st eleven are knackered we will be able to chop and change.

Yep. We need to keep an eye on the young lads who are playing their first proper season of men's footy as well. The manager will have all of the data to help him. I think that's why Cirkin was on the bench Sat, something must have said 'he needs a break'.

LJ explained that there would be some strange looking team selection decisions due to players fitness and recovery schedules.
Cirkin is still recovering from Covid.

Slightly digressing but was that officially the lowest ever away attendance at the SoL yesterday? Be lucky if there were 2 mini buses worth there.

Never thought that far ahead, nice one. The only thoughts I have on the future is, heavy grounds and the style we are playing at the moment don't mix. I am sure we will have the players to adapt though.

It was mine against Burton, got beat but I was not disheartened. Great to be back among it again.

They were still classed at Wimbledon that season, the final one before they became the MK Dons. We played them away at the National Hockey Stadium, but it was against Wimbledon but played in Milton Keynes.

Problem being we should NOT have lost the game against Burton stats show this and we have to be more clinical and if that means drawing games so be it .

We’ll obviously take draws over defeats but I’m looking at the bigger picture. A draw this weekend wouldn’t be a disaster, tough game.

I think it will be our toughest game of the season and time for our defence to really be put to the test.
I think we will be a lot wiser and stronger team that faced them the last time though.

Had an amazing time at the Stadium of Light on Saturday. My cousin had got a box for the game so 11 of the family went and his friend. My children loved the atmosphere and it was my daughters 1st time at the Stadium. Afterwards my Cousin's boy took my son down to get some photos with the players. Great day out, but more importantly a great 3pts.
