Not convinced by Arteta one bit. The big boys will come calling for Smith-Rowe and Saka if they both continue to play well and I think they will both leave.
Agree. I may be wrong, but there seems to be some inherent snobbery in Arsenal that insists they play a certain way and ignore the physical side of the game. The 2 don't have to be mutually exclusive - they were an unbelievable side in the late 90s where they had as much flair (Bergkamp, Henry, Overmars) as they did brute strength & leadership (Adams, Keown, Vieira)
They have lost the balance and gone too far down the pass pass pass route. With the refs (hopefully) letting a bit more go this season, they could struggle. Even the class Brazil teams who played excellent football were still hard as nails and even if you beat them, you would come away battered and bruised.
