Anyone know which Snapchat filter makes Matt Doherty look like the player he was at Wolves? Asking for a midtable Serie A club

On today's performance I get him in quick and keep him. We desperately needed that sort of energy today.

Something tells me we really shouldn’t be loaning this guy back. Sounds like he’s exactly the type we need right now.

Looks like he'll stay at Fiorentina

This might be related to his asking price jumping from €60m to €80m in less than a week, yet Atleti did not adjust their offer while we apparently never made a formal bid

Now, let's watch the punchup between the Italian journalists...

We’re being linked with Ronaldo should he leave Juve.

His wages alone would bankrupt us <laugh>.

    Gotta love transfer rumour season.

Kane and Bale wages would cover Ronaldo wouldn’t they?

Get Juve to buy Ndombele and that’s even more money off the pay roll.

Doubtful, I think he’s on close to £1m a week (likely part inclusive of bonuses though). Kane and the Bale salary we were paying equates to about 40-45% of Ronaldo’s wage…

There’s also the small factor that if Ronaldo does leave Juve, he’ll surely fancy a team in the CL(?). Unless the appeal of trying to win the inaugural ECL is too much for him, lol.

Is that who I think it is? The greatest Spurs striker who never was?

Yeah can’t see it ever happening, tbh there’s only one English side he should play for if he came back and that’s Man Utd.

And how the living **** would a 36 yr old Prima Donna possibly help to rebuild our club after the traumas of the last 2.5 years?
Great player, don't get me wrong, but for us? No thank you.

And while we are on Q&A's - wtf would DL accept a bid for Kane from City for anything less than £160m (possibly more) when they pay £100m for Grealish etc? Smacks solely of media-sponsored destabilising by Citeh.

If he folds now and Kane leaves for anything less, then this more than suggests the club has greater immediate financial concerns than may first appear.

Agree 100% on Ronaldo, 5 years ago would have accepted it for what he brings, but he is not anything like the player he was. and so the financial drain and the fact that he is a twat would not be worth it - all downsides for me.
On Kane I would go further and say that no bid should be accepted as it is too late. Unless they have a signed and sealed plan for 2 top class forwards to come in and a playmaker as well, I would stand firm. Even if £200m was offered.

He’d never come but I’d never reject the chance to sign Ronaldo.

One of the greatest players of all time in a Spurs shirt? No way would I say no to that. Many of the players he’s played with rarely have anything bad to say about him either, even the recent Juve lot say how he’s the first on the training pitch and last to leave, after everything he’s accomplished he still trains like a young kid looking to make an impression, that professionalism would be brilliant to have round here, the likely knowledge he could share too would be priceless to the team and especially younger players.

As I said, it’s never happening and I imagine the journalist that reported it simply done so because Fabio signed him for Juve but in my opinion you can’t say no to Ronaldo. Absolute born winner and even at his age he’s still better than 99.9% of players.

I hope we sign Adama, I know a lot has been said about his final ball and finishing but at times yesterday he looked unstoppable. I also think playing with a better standard of player will make him improve. Could you imagine feeding the ball early to Kane and Adama running in behind.

I think I would too. His final ball (shot or pass) was appalling yesterday, but if he has Kane and Son to pick out, he will get so many assists with us.
