He is 17, his physicality is that of a man. He wont be bossed, his distribution is great. Magnificent in this division, I love how he drives forward. His one weakness for me, he lacks pace. We should do Man City a favour and take him off their hands for £250k

From what I have seen he is quick enough. It's his experience and anticipation, smelling the danger that stands out. That will come. By the time he is 20 he will be a top top player.

I genuinely can’t believe how good he is for 17 years old.

I thought he had a couple of dodgy moments yesterday but was 'OK' overall. He will be an excellent player with more experience, hopefully we get promoted and we can keep hold of him for next season. The lad definitely has a big future.

I have 0 doubt this lad in the next 3 years will be an international if he plays regularly. I equally have 0 doubt that we are seeing the next 'big thing' develop.

This lad is very raw, tries the more difficult pass too often, tries to play it a bit too often under pressure but always tries to play on the front foot and get the team moving forward quickly. He is vital to the style of football LJ is trying to implement.

Reading back my comment it's like talking about John Stones but for me this lad might be even better as he will be big strong and fast alongside the technical ability

I think that comes from the Pep school of coaching, not a bad thing but sometimes it's better to put it into row Z. Maybe that's why he's been allowed to join us on loan - to learn when to pass and when to punt. As everyone has said, still has a lot of attributes for a kid of 17 and will be good to see him play internationals in future knowing that we had a hand in him getting there

I think the biggest problem we will have with him is how to replace him when he goes back to city, I really believe he will be that good

He’ll be a star and Man City will certainly already know that.

Looks like a banker full international to me.

Hasn’t missed a beat playing in front of 30k in a very physical lead. He really could be something special.

There was talk it’s a 2 year loan some places.

Hopefully we'll be able to get him next season as well. If we were to get promoted it would be an obvious next step for him.

This, Leauge one loan at 17 - 18.
Championship loan at 18 - 19. Be nice to think it would be with us. I think Sanderson would have came back to us if we had went up.

Yeah, was discussing this with my son that he isn't as quick as I thought he would be, but this will get better as he gets older and stronger, als I don't think athletes are at their quickest at 17. However, everything else is fantastic, especially as he is so young and still learning.

Thing is, even if he doesn't become faster, he's quick of thought now which will only becoming stronger as he gets older so he can place himself in the right area to stop an attack rather than run over to intercept

Could be the case given his age and size that he's had a growth spurt recently and is somewhat in a baby giraffe stage.

All these rave reviews aren’t helping us to hang on to him, not that there is much chance of that. City will know all about him. Same as Sanderson and Embleton. Good reviews hardened parent clubs resolve to hang on to them. Of course, if he likes it here and city are overloaded with CBs when the time comes……

The positive side of that is when managers of the top clubs see how well we are developing loanees, they will be falling over themselves to send their best younguns to us.

And not only that, young lads will want to stay here instead of moving to Prem clubs if they think 1) they getting games and 2) they can develop to a standard here.

It’s exactly where we want to be in terms of developing and maxing the academy. Mix loans and home grown.

So you're saying we shouldn't be thinking about a third signing of Danny Graham?
