For me. It's time to take a step back. We need these great Afghan men to step up. As Rambo 2020. @brb please update the year.
The manner of the withdrawal was shambolic, but I agree, we can't go on fighting other people's wars.
Jesus Christ that's horrific. I can't see how or when that'll end, there's millions living in that city, it'll just go on and on. At some point (end of August?) the Americans will leave. And there'll be thousands still there chasing the last planes as they take off. Fcking hell.
Don't know what the answer is now, just a total disaster. Even if the EU were to create a pac which included the UK, to do a u-turn and stay, it will just turn into a total blood bath now the Taliban are in situ.
Trouble is anyone younger than 20 are now use to their lifestyle. That's a huge number of the population, that have known some sort of security and the plug has been pulled. I can't see why the Americans would want this, but they clearly do for Biden to complete the task, suppose it's miles from them and what the eyes don't see the brain don't care - I'm not going to say heart, because they ain't got one.
I've a got a feeling that events will overtake them. It's a constantly changing situation and they can't plan for it. Well, let's be honest they've done a piss poor job of planning already and now the whole situation is out of their control. If they're thinking they'll tie this all into a neat bow for September 11th I reckon they're in for a bit of a kick in the nuts. For one thing, public opinion even in the States will turn if this carries on the way it is.
Americans won't care mate. Not watched any news today, so will catch up on the shhite that's happened later.
Rambo 2021 @brb Football was on horseback picking up a dead goat Where are all the great afghan warriors?
It's definitely madness.........hoping the taliban will start swapping opium sales with cannabis sales from now on..........peace and quiet
