Another soft goal. We're in for a hiding here now.

You’ve got to say the score line is fair enough, but how unlucky do we have to keep being? Four out of five goals conceded basically some sort of ricochet.

    It’s getting silly.

Rupp having a shocker on the ball here too. So wasteful for the precious little space and possession we are getting.

I know it is not easy to assess based on 1.5 games against two of the top teams in the league, but are we actually any better than we were last time in the PL? I am not seeing anything to suggest that we are (so far).

Our most consistent performer and the only player to score in the last 12 was Buendia which Is a bit worrying

Why did we play out from the back with less than a minute left? That giveaway could have produced a goal, as could the corner. C'mon, wise up City!

    That was painful viewing.

Man City shots 6 on target 1 goals 2

    Norwich shots 0

As Rob stated earlier, the scoreline is not in question but the two goals, while cruel, were in part, of our own making. There seems to be no desire to do much beyond damage limitation

Desperately need a change of structure in midfield - I would take Rupp and Gilmour off for Sorensen and McClean, with Sorensen playing a proper DM role. No-one is giving giannoulis any cover at the moment, he’s repeatedly facing two attackers.

this isnt fun viewing. Farke needs to wise up and realise we will never out football Man City. Sure, against Burnley, maybe we can play the more technical game. But here? We need to be Burnley. I worry Farke will treat us as an audition tape for a better team who can afford the technical playwrs he craves this season. I want to see gritty pragmatism,

i dont expect points from the first 2 games. but i do want to see a tactical understanding of how to best compete in the top leagues. So far it looks like we arent thinking with our heads.

We need someone to take one of those forward passes and turn up the pitch with it.

Don’t think anybody is surprised by being 2 - 0 down at half time. Both goals had a very high element of luck which we don’t seem to get. DF appears to be playing the same way as in the Championship but it’s not working in PL. No time on the ball and being closed down very rapidly. Surely DF will try out his other new signings in 2nd half? Hesgoal stream is working very well for me in north Suffolk.

I think we are better, but we need to be more streetwise in games like this. I was worried when I saw the unchanged lineup and so it proved. We're two goals down but that thigh deflection for the second is still Citeh's only shot on target. Pukki is already looking weary when we have a match-fit Sargent on the bench. Rashica has looked good on both sides of the ball but I worry about Cantwell in games like this. Sargent WR could give us more on both sides of the ball and take some pressure off Pukki.

The ball has barely been in their half and we are fannying around tippy tapping out from the back .

I try not to single players out but I don't remember Rupp having a good Premier league performance .

Both goals conceded a decent centre back would deal with balls like that all day long .

We spent big this time so that can't be used an excuse.

The current scored 1 conceded 29 stat is horrendous.

If we don't win or even score in the next few games and get that monkey off our back then this could be a confidence sapping run.

We are lucky to be only two goals down, but at the same time unlucky to be two goals down. Man C are streets ahead of us but have not really tested Krul as much as Hanley. Pukki only touched the ball once in their half, Krul has touched it at least 20 times, and that is an under estimate I would guess.

i think the reality is we need to show that we can stop trying to play our football for a bit and instead focus on stopping other teams playing theirs. become spoilers of football rather than aspiring to be creators of it. Thats the only way we beat the odds currently against such vast differences in talent. I worry Farke is too proud to do this. He needs to get over any delusions of fairy tales like this quickly. It might happen once or twice, but we need consistency. We had the fairytale against man city last prem season, It did us no good in the long run.

side note- Busan is awesome! Soju is a wonderful thing
