Enjoy mate, we need to get back to normal life, enjoy, I will hopefully be at home toasting a fine victory, im sure we all will be celebrating.
I think Johnson will be in charge next season even if we aren't promoted this season. It's all screaming long term to me, hopefully they get time to turn the SAFC juggernaut around.
marra, i think a few of us at least had a wee bit of a 'wobble' along the way, even those of us that said we kept faith in the new regime...at least you have held your hand up and have still been around and posting, some are very noticable by their absence. there are no guarantees in football though, something that we can all agree on there and time will tell, but even if this does not work out the way we all hope i have to say it has been the best window i can remember, the players have been selected and vetted rather than 'is there a right back for sale?'...all of them are showing a desire rather than just running through the standard replies in the first interview. more has been hinted at and if those come off as well i feel this will be (at the very least) the start of the club growing again.
Oli Wagkz owa the road who I think has previous for getting bits is saying we're in for Regan Poole from Lincoln. CB or RB he is.
Was going to get tickets as the DJS are right up my street. We were booked to go a d see my dad in Spain but that got cancelled as well. At least I can go to the match though!!
Cracking seeing these lads sign contracts and not just be loans. Means they will be really invested in the long term success of the club. Be great to see them rise through the leagues with us.
Looks like that's the plan, been a few year since I've been this enthusiastic for a season and seasons ahead
Bloody hell, what a day to be out of things taking your son round his new uni, looking at accommodation and familiarising him with the layout of the city! I'm well chuffed with how things are going and @Prehab26 giving substance to the Vito rumours has just about sealed my day! I feel like a kid who had to wait a few weeks past their birthday for a present rather than get it one the day and has found out the present was a brand new Tesla. Yes I griped and grumbled, and yes it would have been great to have gotten the car on my birthday, but it is still way beyond my expectations and I am pleased as a seaside puppet! ****it, let's have some of this
One of the best things about all this, long term, is the natural cascade. We're edging to a point where our set up is known, professionally, as the stand out best in the NE. People in Milan might not be too aware of our business, but most kids in the NE will be noticing we're genuinely focused on quality youth development now. Fan's reception of Doyle (17), is SOOO interesting. Can't help but bolster more recent signings' confidence in the club. //someone, somewhere, should be ****ting themselves that a 17yr old has been allowed to start as our 1st choice CB// But suddenly it means we've confidently signed PL-potential full backs on long term contracts. I could type all night. Point is, that it's exciting times. Much love to @Smug in Boots @Prehab26 and anyone else with tidbits for making the takeover clear-as-allowed without spilling beans. I honestly reckon you gave a lot of fans some SAFC-necessary hope, proper thank you.
I agree, if you think they will be building up more data on more players, all the time hopefully we can eventually have a team of hungry young players
May have been covered since this post (I haven’t caught up with the thread yet) but Portsmouth seem confident of getting him once Curtis moves on. The lad on RTG that knows his mam said that we’ve told him we’re not pursuing it.
He only signed for them in January this year, I cant see how long his contract is for, I can only find its a "multi-year" contract
