I think I’d rather rely on Hinds and Jarvis from the academy than give someone like Grigg a salary.

 

I like the look of Jarvis definitely a future 1st team player.

Actually, I’d rather play Scott as a number 9 instead of signing Grigg. Like Ernie said, we signed him as a striker but never played him there.

 

Here’s a name that just popped into my head. Nahki Wells. Anyone reckon the mystery striker could be him? Saying that, I see no reason why Brizzle would let him leave by mutual consent. He played every league game last season for them.

 

I know a couple of forwards who would kill to be that prolific Ernie

Last season when we had strength out wide, ie White and the other winger on loan from Brizzies (beginning with A) it often enabled us to give KLP/Wilkes a run in the middle. I was ok with that. Wilkes injury shows we dont have that strength on the wings.

A tad surprised to see Matty Jacob go to the National League North, he looked useful in pre-season. Would have to suspect that he'll be released at the end of the season, his deal is up and he'll be 21 then

Our academy players aren't even going to League 1 sides... what will they learn. Coached by someone who has a part time job. kicked to **** by some no name... How is it developing their game other than playing a game of football... will they come back and the manger thinks First Team... not a chance...
