After three games on the road we are back at Adams Park for a brief visit before another two game on the road so the lads will want to put in a good performance against the mid table Imps, we have a good record against them having won ten of our twenty meetings and we are unbeaten against them for over 12 years. Gaz is likely to make a few changes to freshen things up with Horgan and Thompson likely to get a start Wheeler McCarthy Gape and Taffazolli could return to the squad. I will be at this one along with Blue Slasher who is making his first appearance for 18 months I hope he is match fit we will be taking our place on the terrace looking forward to a good game and to continue our good start to the season
Wanderers have teamed up with Arriva and Chiltern Railways for a brand-new bus service direct to Adams Park from the High Wycombe rail station on home matchdays, starting with this weekend's match against Lincoln City (Saturday, 3pm kick-off). The service will run with one 70-seater vehicle departing the rail station (bay 18) at 12.45pm, 1.30pm and 2.15pm, heading direct to Adams Park with no stops, and will initially be offered free of charge to passengers. Return journeys will run from 5.15pm and 6pm. It was only the other day I was thinking why don't they do park and ride from the station. But this will enable people to walk to the station for a free ride to the match. Great idea. But only 70 will get on. Hopefully they have some in reserve in case hundreds turn up at the station
... and then you look at the bench - Kaikai, Mehmeti, Pendlebury - not bad at all. And Burley is OK by all accounts, versatile given his baptism against Exeter
Living among The Gas as most of my mates support them so i'm looking forward to seeing them in the pub tomorrow lunchtime.
I think our strikers are wearing each others' boots, or they put them on the wrong feet. 14 shots, 1 on target
